Seminar with Joel Johnson

How can a pastor impart a biblical perspective on work that enables people to experience more satisfaction and fulfillment in their daily lives? How can a church effectively promote human flourishing throughout an entire community?

Twin Cities Kern Pastors are invited to join us in a dicussion of these questions and more in a half-day seminar featuring senior pastor Joel Johnson. Since planting Westwood Community Church in Chanhassen, Minn., 19 years ago, Johnson has led his pastoral staff to follow God’s direction to be deeply involved with the community and its workplaces. As a result, the church has developed an incredible reputation in the community, and has grow from 90 members to over 3000. The church plays a central role in the health and growth of the Chanhassen area.

The seminar will be hosted as two identifical, half-day events on Aug. 19 and 23. Kern Pastors are invited to join us for whichever day best fits their schedule, and may bring up to two guests – church members, fellow staff, or other pastors from the community. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
